When we couldn't get a reservation at Halls any earlier than 10 pm on Saturday night, we elected to go Italian. A very small authentic venue. This is not Olive Garden. It was when my mother would start preparing food the day before. Everyday, my mother and I would go to the open market just down the street to shop for the lunch and dinner she would prepare. We would always stop and buy bread, I would get a small piece of focaccia to eat right there.
At the open market, we would be able to buy the fruits and vegetables that were in season only. However, because our town of Pesaro was right on the coast, there was always an abundant amount of fish to pick from.

We sat outside under the patio and luckily the torrential rain kept away for us to eat. Our server Sarah was great both with personality and attentiveness. Our little Italian Restaurant is open for dining after being closed for a month due to the corona virus. There was a decent crowd Friday night on the patio, obviously some regulars. Everything was good: the fresh bread, pasta ravioli, house salad, and Chianti wine A great night out for me is all about who I am with.
In this instance the outing was with friends and family, having dinner together. The pasta, seafood and veal dishes were excellent as was the wine, sweet teas and appetizers. A friend and I dined at Pane after a movie next door. I had the chicken francese, which was light and delicious. My friend had spaghetti and meatballs which was also very good.
We both really enjoyed our meals and the excellent service at this I have eaten at Pane E Vino several times a year for the last few years. Last night was a terrible disappointment, and while restaurants can have a bad night now and then, the food and service was horrible.
It was a busy evening and My wife and I have lived in the West Melbourne area for nine years now and eaten 2 or 3 times at Pane E Vino during that time. We have never considered it a favorite.

For dinner I had eggplant parmigiana. It was super yummy. The prices are reasonable. I used to love their pizza. NOT any more. Very cardboard and dull. What used to be unique is now no better than frozen. We literally drove all the way from Tampa to come to this restaurant!
